Welcome to Hope Shaw.

We are a firm of Chartered Accountants formed in 1994, with our main office based in Sherborne, Dorset.

With our hands on approach, and modern communications, distance is not a problem and we are by no means governed by our location. In fact, we pride ourselves in having clients based throughout the whole of the U.K. and as far a field as Hong Kong and New Zealand.  We regularly visit clients based across the South of England and in Central London.  Wherever you are, we can help. We are always there for you.

The original concept of Hope Shaw was to fill a gap in the market for a value for money, “Fixed Fee” accounting service, using our Simplified Company Accounts Service (SCAS). 

Fifteen years on, this is still a vibrant part of the business and with demand growing,  we have expanded the Practice to cover all areas of traditional accounting services. 

We offer a full range of accounting and tax services. Our clients can rely on us for a prompt response, friendly advice and positive assistance with tax and business planning – clients can also enjoy the certainty of knowing that all their compliance work is in safe hands. A testament to this is the considerable number of new clients referred to us by personal recommendation.  We have clients in a variety of business sectors, operating as sole traders, limited companies, partnerships, LLP’s and PLC’s.

Our range of expertise is comprehensive, and we also deal with personal tax, trusts, book-keeping and payroll.
